Monica Tryon, Member Dining Experience Manager

By recruiting and training our front of house associates for multiple restaurants and lounges, Monica is making a difference in our members lives. It’s the dream job she’s been training for all her life. After 16 years as a government contractor, Monica was working overseas when she discovered her knack for event planning but her true passion was running the front of the house, ensuring guests were always receiving white glove service. Returning stateside, she honed her skills planning events for colonels and generals before deciding to be an entrepreneur, opening her own restaurant in Sierra Vista. Three years later, she relocated to Tucson and bought her front of house skills to several notable Tucson area resorts. When at Omni, she enjoyed teaching a class called Power of Engagement and felt as a leader that she’d hit her stride. However, by now she was craving new purpose. She felt a burning desire to give back. And just like that The Hacienda at the Canyon emerged as the one place where all of her talents and passions converged. How fortunate our servers are to have a leader like Monica modeling how service is properly done.
