The following reminder is for members only:
Next Tuesday, November the 12th Jan Weidenhammer, a docent from the Tucson Museum of Art, will be doing a talk called “First Images of the American West: Expeditionary Artists from 1819-1949”. It will take place is our newly opened Screening Room and you’ll even be able to try out our loop system for the hearing impaired! Please RSVP with the concierge or on LifeLoop if you’ll be able to join us.
It’s still not too late to join Conversational Arabic on Wednesday at 2pm or Joyful Movement on Thursday at 2pm. Both classes got rave reviews from members this week!
On Saturday the 16th we have a field trip to the Tucson Desert Art Museum departing at 12:15. They are hosting a talk with Humane Borders with their current exhibition. RSVP to snag a spot on the shuttle or meet us there!
Cognitive Checkups: A new service offered by Hacienda at the Canyon and the Psychology Department at University of Arizona
And finally, we have a special add-on event from the UA Psychology Department that isn’t in your November Thrive! Next Wednesday Matthew D. Grilli, PhD from the Evelyn F. McKnight Brain Institute will be sharing information about the free Cognitive Checkups soon to be offered at the Canyon. He will also be answering your questions about this free and confidential service. Please RSVP so we can plan for snacks!
There are many more activities listed in November’s Thrive or on LifeLoop. We’d love to see you at a LifeLoop 101 class so you can learn more about this helpful and fun tool for our activity scheduling!
